Today I wanted to ask you whether you are interested in joining our Sustainability Forum community on Facebook. Our Sustainability Forum Facebook page is fairly new. I only started it when I began to blog on a more regular basis two months ago. The Facebook page is part of my Sustainability communication triangle. This triangle consists of this website, my Sustainability Forum Twitter account and the Sustainability Forum Facebook page.
What is the aim of the Sustainability Forum Facebook page?
The aim of the Facebook page is to foster more engagement on a personal level when we talk about sustainability and related topics. Twitter is useful for reaching a larger audience. But Facebook is the destination for me to be able to go into a more detailed discussion with my readers. It fits as an alternative to the Twitter engagement in my view. More information on our communication channel structure can be found on my cornerstone article about Sustainability and Social Media.
We also have a Facebook group on the page. The Facebook group enables us to have a more focused discussion on specific topics. Via this group function we can get to know more about you and your sustainability journey. This group on the page will serve as a closed community forum. And I hope this is a community more of you would like to join too.
How is it different from the website?
The website here is the main platform for us to publish the content I am passionate about when we talk about sustainability. My guiding principle is the fact that I love to write about sustainability. This way I can do my bit to promote sustainability and sustainable business best practice.
So if you are interested in joining us on the Sustainability Forum page please make sure to join our group there too. That way we will not miss a chance to engage and make sure we promote Sustainability as much as possible.
Have a good weekend everyone!
