Microsoft’s Community Impact Map launched

Microsoft has launched an online tool which showcases its community impact around the world. The website, named Microsoft Local Impact Map, has over 350 case studies and information on how Microsoft’s partnerships and technology are positively impacting over 230 countries and regions around the world.


The Local Impact Map website gives a visualization of Microsoft’s commitment to corporate citizenship. The company’s corporate citizenship programmes support its mission to help people and businesses around the world realize their full potential. In pursuing this, Microsoft has formed partnerships with governments, community organizations and individuals to provide training, infrastructure and technology that enable expanded opportunities and sustainable economic growth and prosperity.

Our opinion:

This is a very useful tool by Microsoft. It is also a valuable resource for partners and other stakeholders interested in tracking Microsoft’s community impact worldwide. Lets hope that Microsoft will keep its promises and updates this on a continuous basis.
