In case you missed the news this week I wanted to make you aware if this very positive development from New Zealand.
What happened in New Zealand? – New Zealand just passed its first zero carbon bill. The bill sets out an ambitious target. They want to to reduce all greenhouse gases (except biogenic methane, emitted by plant and animal sources) to net zero by 2050.
Here are two articles you should read if you have a few minutes:

I will follow this story closer over the next months so stay tuned for more. Here is Jacinda Arden in parliament after the zero carbon passed.
A huge step for New Zealand and a reminder for the rest of us
This is a huge step for New Zealand into the right direction and will propel the country into a leadership position the next years. At the same time it sends a strong message to other countries to step up our efforts for a zero carbon future for us all. Well done New Zealand and thank you to remind us that we need to do more.
