Default The answer to affordable solar energy!

What if I told you that you could become part of the solution without having to pay the thousands of dollars usually neccessary to buy and install solar panels? What if you could do so without having to worry about maintaining the a complex system? What if you could do all this and actually save money on your monthly electric bill? Interested?

I was recently introduced to a remarkable new solution provided by Citizenre Corp. The company was founded by people who are concerned about our world and who realize that the old business model for deploying solar energy systems is lagging way behind the pressing need for clean renewable energy. This new solution will make solar energy affordable to the masses and their goal is to provide solar power for 25% of American households by the year 2025.

This is how it works. All a homeowner pays to have the solar panels installed is a security deposit of roughly $500-$1000 (depending on the home's energy requirements). That security deposit is refunded to the homeowner with interest at the end of the contract. Essentially, they rent the solar panels and instead of paying their electric bill to the local power company they pay it to Citizenre.

The cool thing is that you lock in your rate at whatever the price for energy is right now! You can have a 25 year contract that ensures that your monthly electric bill will be the exact same in 2032 as it is in 2007!

Furthermore, there is no maintanence hassle since the people at Citizenre will take care of the solar panels and make sure they're in good working order. In fact they have every incentive to do so, since the company only gets paid for power actually produced. And if the local power grid ever blacks out and the sun is shining, they can still have power even if the neighbors don't!

My father introduced this to me and he's already signed up. Their factory-which will be the largest solar panel manufacturing plant in the world-will come online in the beginning of 2008 and the solar panels will begin to be delivered right away. The way he see's it he can save money and start being part of the solution. Why not?

If you're interested go here. A couple things I'd recommend checking out: The video introduction by Ed Begley, Jr. and the Solar Savings Calculator. Unfortunately, if you live in a state without net-metering laws, this program is currently unavailable. If you have any questions or would like to sign up you can just send me a pm and I'd love to help. I've completed the first phase of the company's "Independent Ecoprenuer" training.
