I'm currently working on a project of environmental education related to mangroves at the Osa Peninsula in Costa Rica.

There are four workshops to be scheduled and monitoring of the mangrove areas in order to have a control over them. It's a small proyect, feel free to ask.

Please share more information on your project. We have mangroves in Abu Dhabi and we are building near them. I watched a report on BBC World today which said that development in Bahrain is killing off the mangroves. We also have a large protected area of mangroves in Kalba in the emirate of Sharjah.

Thanks

This begun because of a training course about Coastal Ecosystems Conservation which was organized by the Japan International Cooperation Agency and the International Society for Mangrove Ecosystems. Participants must develop an Action Plan at our countries and mine it's on the Osa peninsula, at the southern part of Costa Rica. In short, I have to train an organized group about the importance mangroves have to gulf's ecosystem and how to protect them. Hopefully, there will be a plantation project to be developed by a Japanese volunteer in the future.
