Default What Does Sustainability Mean To You?

It seems to me that different people have a different take on "sustainability". So I'd really like to understand individual views on "sustainability".

Sustainability – a property of a system that maintains it self. In the case of our socioeconomic system; one that balances its needs with those of the eco system.

I don’t think that our current socioeconomic system has such a property. Thus, we need to move over to another type of socioeconomic system.

Being a new farmer I don't process any of the pork myself. I do brine and smoke my own hams and bacon, though.

Thank you for the interesting websites. On the contrary, speaking about humanely, naturally raised animals is always topical.

Default simple reduse consumption

Sustainability to me Is and Reduction in consumption that eventually leads to a level of Consumption below what the world ecosystem can sustain.
