The Summer Institute in Sustainability will be offered July 20-25, 2008, by the University of Washington in partnership with the University of British Columbia. Administrators in corporations and governmental bodies will find this program valuable in learning how to implement environmentally sustainable policies that consider stakeholder interest and public policy. In this week long program, you will gain a deeper understanding of the scientific, economic and ethical issues surrounding sustainability. You will also learn how to set sustainability goals, develop and implement action plans, and measure and track results. Activities include lectures and seminars by leading sustainability experts, case-study workshops and on-site excursions.
Registration for the UBC/UW Summer Institute in Sustainability is now open. You are encouraged to register early because spaces are limited. For more information on this program, or if you have any questions, please visit
