I haven't seen the video but I would think the behaviorist school of Skinner has more to do with social control than Freud.
There is a very long tradition of regarding democracy as mob rule and only when it became obvious that the masses could be manipulated to do the ruling classes bidding, ( whilst being given the illusion of democracy), did many of the most famous "democrats" became converted.

I was wondering what the hell a "centery" was? However, I just clicked on the link and see that the word should be century.

I thought it was related to "centre", and was intended to mean something along the lines of "self-centred"
