Blimy, I don't know, but I'd very interested to hear what people think "sustainability" really means, it's easy to say what it isn't

To begin with, reliance on locally available resources.

Hi!..this is probably my first post since I registered. ..I'm quite impressed about the improvements in the forum (good work Admin!). I'm a graduating MBA student in Environment & Energy Management in UTwente Netherlands; and would make nice inputs soon.
I think the topics you have chosen are okay for the time being; but I would love to see more articles posted; at least to enable forum members learn more from others...thats my contribution for now..thanks!

Just my two cents worth...
I'd like to see a heck of a lot more talk on environmental forums about food. We all have to eat, and what we eat has a huge impact on the environment.
My suggestion is: A subtopic on eco-friendly eating habits.

Fabian,
Further to our chat - as I said, my only concern is that there are so many forums available that it might prove a little confusing. Though you have the chatbox, you do need, I think, a main forum where people can just gather together, air their thoughts etc. If I've had a bad day, for example, where buying organic food was a right pain - no choice etc - I'd rather post in the general news and discussion forum, rather than go to the organic forum. I would suggest that you bring some of the forums together - perhaps splinter them as the site continues to grow. But at this stage, as we all get to know each other, perhaps virtually bring us together a bit more?
Other than this, I would like to say that the whole site looks professional. The visitor can tell that a lot of work has gone into this and I'd like to wish you success with this project.

Pem, I agree, a very nice looking forum that seems to be evolving very well.
Easy to use, easy on the eye

The forum looks fantastic and functions incredibly well. I'd really like to know what you've got running it It sure beats the functionality of my forum.
My only negative feedback would be to agree with the above. For most forums, especially younger ones, fewer categories seem to be better. It allows for more conversation since a new user doesn't have to choose from 14 different places to post. Just my 2c, though.
Love the forum!

We have listenend!
Okay guys. I have listened! - I have pulled all of the forums with news and discussion together into the Main Discussion and News Forum
- Created a topics related forums on Corporate Responsibility, Sustainable living and Climate Change
- Pulled the marketplace and some resources forums together into a Marketplace and Resources Forum (Now that is what I call logic!)

I hope this all makes better sense to you now and this is what you meant with your very good suggestions.

Hmm... so where is the best place to start an eco-eating habits thread? Please be the first enviro forum to invite this topic.

Hi Cerberus.
Why not in the sustainable living forum? Or do you think it would be worthwhile to call this not sustainable living forum but sustainable lifstyle?
Let me know what you think and we will find the right place for your eco-eating habits thread!
