Default Interested in "green" weddings?

Hi all

I have written a few books now about weddings (amongst other things) and realised that no-one had done one about eco-friendly weddings in the UK, although a couple of books on the topic had been published in the US.

Being someone who likes to practise what they preach I researched the topic very carefully and was absolutely fascinated by what I found out - and was able to implement. Not only was I able to make some useful recommendations to engaged couples on how to get married "in green," as my title says, but also I have learned a great deal about to live a greener life myself.

I am now a proud owner of a "wormery" and consider my worms as members of the family. Seriously, we now have virtually zero food waste here as any meat-based leftovers get eaten by our dogs and cats, and vegetable waste gets consumed by the worms. Garden waste, of course, goes on to our main compost heap in the back yard; my worms, however, live indoors so they don't have to deal with extremes of temperature. (I know, I spoil them...)

Much as I would love to be able to send free copies of my book to all of you, costs prohibit that - if any of you have a blog/publication and want to review the book - or someone wants to review the book on here - I can swing a free copy for you via the publisher.

For your info the book is called "How To Get Married In Green" and you can see more about it here:

I look forward to hearing from you, and to some interesting interaction on this platform!
