Eastside is seeking to recruit a high-quality professional for a part-time role as a Marketing & Development Officer. The primary focus will be to work with the Eastside team to grow the enterprise and roll-out the service across the UK. This position is 3 day a week post, London-based and pay is £25,000 pro-rata.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with marketing skills and an entrepreneurial spirit to help build a cross-sector leading organisation. Significant career development will be available if the project is a success.

The successful candidate will be asked to participate in a wide range of the new venture's activities, and work on the follow priorities:
Job Specification
Marketing and sales (55%)
Implement marketing strategy
Active recruitment of professionals and enterprises
Design of marketing materials for business, corporate, professional and social enterprise audiences
Communications and building stakeholder relations
Administration (15%)
Setting up legal and management structures to prepare for trading
General administration including reporting on activities and expenditure
Fundraising and partnerships (10%)
Identify potential sources of grant or public support
Build relationships to leverage additional resources
Apply for grant funding
Programme delivery (10%)
Handle enterprise and professionals’ inquiries and completing initial needs assessments
Guide enterprises through the investment-readiness process
Guide mentors through the process of working with social enterprise
Development (10%)
Contribute to the development of the Eastside team through peer coaching and support
Pursue opportunities to learn and apply new skills that lead to the above tasks being carried out with increasing effectiveness and efficiency
Person Specification
A proven self-starter, motivated and highly organised
Experience and/or a keen interest in and understanding of social entrepreneurship, and enterprise-driven approaches to sustainability challenges
Demonstrated competency in marketing and communications, producing professional communication materials, developing and implementing marketing strategies
Understanding and experience of using new media as a marketing tool
Customer and accountant management experience
Good writing and communication skills
Commitment to high performance, meeting deadlines and high quality outputs
Proven project team player with excellent people skills
Ability and willingness to acquire and apply new skills
Desirable Qualities
Experience in fundraising, grant management, evaluation and reporting
Interest in facilitation, coaching, mentoring and leadership development
Some history of involvement in cross-sectoral partnerships and/or sustainability
