Business Development Manager, Harewelle International Ltd To be based in Northamptonshire, central England Harewelle International Limited is a UK-based company providing consulting and project management services in the field of overseas development aid. With over 35 years’ experience in nearly 90 countries the company has earned a first class reputation with government departments, NGOs, major funding agencies and, most importantly, the local communities in which we work. The Harewelle Group has three regional associate companies based in Bangladesh, Lesotho and Zambia. Due to continued expansion, a vacancy has arisen for a Business Development Manager to join the UK head office team. The successful candidate will be responsible for taking the lead in developing business opportunities, managing client and partner relationships, and leading or participating in bid teams. Specifically the position requires the ability to provide financial, technical and strategic input into the development of winning proposals for competitive tenders. In addition the candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to Harewelle's strategic direction and also undertake a project management role within the company, responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered to a high standard. This will require some overseas travel, sometimes at short notice. Candidates will have previous experience of working as a member of a business development team in the area of donor-funded development aid, have strong communication skills and the ability to foster strong working relationships with other areas of the company, both in the UK and in our international offices.
