Traceability Managers (London, UK)
Organization: Marine Stewardship Council
Two roles:
* One permanent position
* One 12-month contract with possibility for extension
We are looking for the right candidates to build on the growth of the recent developments in the TASC project. You will be a passionate, resourceful professional who can balance your robust understanding and substantial experience of commercial supply chains with the standard setting environment.
You will have at least six years experience in supplier/supply chain management, the retail or foodservice sectors, the global fishing industry or another industry with incentives for illegal trading, for example due to supply chain product value pressures.
You must have a combination of education and experience that demonstrates an in-depth and practical understanding of global supply chains and the issues related to traceability. You will need to prove knowledge of food safety and quality management systems, product or supply chain risk assessment, traceability systems and relevant national and international laws relating to product labelling. Although a distinct advantage, supply chain experience in fisheries specifically is not essential.
The successful candidates must be able to demonstrate well-developed analytical and systematic problem solving skills, sound reasoning abilities and logical decision-making. You will have project management responsibilities and be in a role that offers the opportunity to help shape the development of the MSC’s global chain of custody programme.
