The job…
* Project management and providing technical input into a variety of greenhouse gas emissions projects, focusing on the measurement, reporting and management of emissions. Managing projects on time, to budget and ensuring consistently high levels of client satisfaction.
* Examples of projects include:
o Organisation-wide emissions assessments
o Product lifecycle carbon analysis
o Carbon management planning
* Developing business in the organisation’s key areas of emphasis, with a focus on broadening the service offering to public and private sector clients.
* Facilitating the development and management of assessment offerings to specific industry sectors, including manufacturing and utilities.
* Providing strategic business support in developing the UK strategy for carbon assessment and management This includes internal championing of information regarding the development of the assessment market, protocols, methodologies etc in the UK.
You…
* Have 3-5+ years’ technical experience working with one or more of the following areas; sustainable building developments, renewable energy and carbon management.
* Have experience in at least two of the following; energy surveys, energy generation project feasibility assessment and design, renewable energy technology design and implementation. Experience in CHP, fuel cells and low energy buildings would be extremely beneficial.
* Have substantial and relevant experience in project management.
* Possess a relevant Bachelors degree in engineering or environmental science and a Masters or equivalent qualification.
* Have experience of successful business development.
