Default Senior Project Manager for Offshore Wind farm: £Neg

Manage an engineering team for Offshore Wind development in one of the leading energy companies in Europe.

Our client is one of the leading developers of offshore wind in the UK, with plans for further expansion in this country. The successful applicant would be part of an expanding team, responsible for the development and execution of a large number of offshore projects in the UK. Your work assignments will focus on both the development phase and execution phase of the offshore wind farm developments. You will be base in either a project team office or in the offices in Central London.


The job…
• Daily management of an engineering team of 15 engineers and technicians.
• Management of the design basis, concept selection as well as tender preparation and evaluation.
• Ensuring that the team’s deliverables are suitable concerning cost and schedule.
• Ensuring the implementation of proper planning and risk management.
• Managing resource acquisition in relation to our client’s planned activities.
• Ensuring a high HSSE performance.


You…
• Have extensive work experience within the field of offshore wind power or equivalent lines of business.
• Have a suitable university degree.
• Possess a proven track record in project and peoples management.
• Communicate well with all organisational levels, and are able to find constructive and practical solutions to operational and technical challenges.
• Have a dynamic and professional approach to work.
• Are a proactive team player who is willing to share their knowledge with others.


Location: London, with travel to northern Europe
Deadline: End of October 2008
