Our client requires a project engineer to be responsible for a £30m offshore substation work package. This package is being tendered for activation in the next 2 years.
The job…
• Assist with the evaluation of tender bids.
• Interface with design engineers and other interfacing contracts.
• Reviewing of design specifications, drawings, method statements and risk assessments.
• Assist with the management of the contract.
• Ensure efficiency in factory witnessing of fabrication and acceptance testing
You…
• Hold a relevant degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline, ideally in marine structural engineering or substation design and construction.
• Possess a proven track record in leading development projects and an in-depth knowledge of Environmental Impact Assessments.
• Are safety and efficiency orientated.
• Have a proven capability of making confident and reasoned decisions.
• Would ideally be capable of offshore working to ensure flexibility in the role.
• Happy to travel overseas when required.
