At the Las Vegas Valley Water District (LVVWD), Southern Nevada Water Authority (SNWA) and Springs Preserve, we pride ourselves in being a leader in the community.

The LVVWD provides water to more than one million people in Southern Nevada and is one of seven member agencies that make up the SNWA, an agency that addresses Southern Nevada's unique water needs on a regional basis.

The Springs Preserve is a 180-acre family attraction, featuring museums, galleries and gardens that convey a message of sustainable living in a fun, hands-on way while celebrating the history of Las Vegas.

GENERAL PURPOSE: We are seeking a highly knowledgeable and skilled individual to lead and coordinate the development and implementation of the Southern Nevada Water Authority/Las Vegas Valley Water District sustainability programs including energy efficiency and conservation, recycling and waste prevention, renewable energy and other sustainability initiatives to meet organization-wide sustainability goals. Researches, plans and coordinates efforts to develop community-wide support for implementation of sustainable development programs and practices throughout Southern Nevada.

Requires graduation from a four-year college or university with a degree in environmental studies, economics, business or public administration or a related field; and five years of progressively responsible professional experience in an energy or sustainable development program; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

Salary: $95,362 annually (Relocation Assistance Available)

Hours of Work: 8am - 5pm, M-F
