Salary: £22k-£28k

A fantastic opportunity to work for a progressive company, expanding team and to make an impact in.

Our client is an environmental design consultancy advising on the design of sustainable buildings. Offering consultancy services to contractors, developers, architects, local authorities and RSLs. Seeking to grow their business further in the residential and commercial sectors they require talented and ambitious professional to join a small and vibrant team as a Sustainable Design Consultant.

The successful candidate will bring expertise, experience and a passion for creating sustainable solutions and develop into the role. A good working knowledge of BREEAM, Code for Sustainable Homes assessment methods and emerging government policies on Zero Carbon buildings.

In addition you will;
  • undertake SAP and NHER assessments
  • provide input to a wider sustainability agenda
  • draft and issue of Preliminary, Interim and Final reports
  • assist in management of client relationships and deliver key projects on planning and development issues
  • assist in preparation of fee proposals

Key attributes required to undertake this role are;
  • Experience of undertaking BREEAM and Code for Sustainable Homes assessments
  • OCDEA Accredited
  • Possess a good understanding of Renewable Energy and Thermal bridging
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • General computer literacy essential for written documents
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Good working knowledge of Building Regulations especially Part L
  • Enthusiasm and passion for the cause
