• Reporting to the associate director you will be one of the main technical specialists for geo- technical and contaminated land issues
• Managing and developing a team of geotechnical and geoenvironmental specialists.
• Working closely with individuals in planning and engineering departments in the region and at a national level within the company’s Environment Transport network
• Acting as a key technical and commercial representative and developing the client base for geotechnical and contaminated land work in the South West
• Liaising with and developing the client base for geotechnical and contaminated land work as well as being able to communicate effectively with other professionals

• Will be a chartered geo-technical or geo- environmentalist consultant working in either the public or private sector
• Have strong business development skills
• Possess fantastic relationship building skills
• Are able to communicate with a range of current and potential clients, both on a technical and commercial basis
• Are qualified to BSc level, and ideally MSc, in a relevant environmental science/engineering/geological discipline.
• Have an astute commercial and practical understanding of consulting in this field, and will possess client management and development skills, a great presentation style, and business development experience
• Have experience with managing project programmes, resources and budgets to ensure projects are delivered to client requirements
