The job…
• Reporting to head of research or senior analysts, you will undertake research work in the clean technologies and renewable energy sector
• Assisting in primary findings and analysing the driving factors in each sector. Communicating these in a clear and insightful manner, through research notes, reports and presentations. Client contact is essential.
• Helping to source data and maintaining investment databases of data on investments, M&A deals and IPOs
• Pro actively detect and improve areas lacking data and uphold a high level of consistent and quality data

• Are qualified to either undergraduate/ post graduate level
• May have come from either an energy or finance background
• Must have a strong working knowledge of finance, including public markets, mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and project finance
• Have exceptional communication skills (oral and written), with a high degree of professionalism- as you’ll be reporting findings to CFOs and CEOs organisations
• Possess strong quantitative skills and are comfortable working with financial databases, corporate and market statistics, and other aspects of financial analysis and consulting – with the ability to prepare statistics on databases, extract and analyse key patterns
• Are a thought-leader and self-starter- highly motivated and able to multi- task without missing attention to detail
• Ideally have a second fluent language
