An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a new team of Energy Advisors. Climate change is now widely accepted as the largest long-term environmental problem facing humanity and its major cause is carbon dioxide emissions from energy use. The new Energy Saving Trust advice centre in the East Midlands will provide advice and information to consumers, communities and local organisations on actions to reduce their energy use and carbon emissions.

This would be an ideal position for someone seeking more variety than is offered in a conventional call centre environment. The role will also involve outreach work within the community, so the successful candidate will be confident at delivering both face to face and telephone advice.

The role will involve providing information to inbound callers responding to direct marketing initiatives or phoning in following a visit to our website. Outbound call requirements might include follow-up customer satisfaction enquiries and liaising with contractors and suppliers.

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to deal effectively with people from a diverse range of backgrounds. Ideally, you will have good administrative and computer skills and some experience in a telemarketing / customer service environment, however full training will be provided.

As a leading housing and energy efficiency consultancy, Hestia’s vision is to support the drive towards sustainable energy. We believe that this is an exciting opportunity to join a successful expanding company that prides itself on encouraging its staff to reach their potential and, where possible, progress within the organisation.
