Carbon International, a London-based environmental public relations and investor communications consultancy, is recruiting for an Account Manager role in the PR team to help service its growing client roster.

CNBC European Business Magazine included Carbon International in its prestigious 2008 Top 100 Low Carbon Pioneers and described the company as “the unofficial ‘source of all knowledge’ in London’s low carbon heart … a boutique, specialist player in the vanguard of this sector.”

The successful candidate will have:
  • The communications skills and determination to push our clients’ views, services and products on to the news agenda and into media
  • A strong grasp of environmental technologies, policy and markets
  • Excellent writing skills gained in PR or journalism
  • A readiness to ‘muck in’ and a sense of humour

The successful candidate will report to Carbon International’s Director of PR, David Hopkins, and will have the following responsibilities:
  • Managing accounts
  • Developing media strategy for clients
  • Writing press releases and articles
  • Liaising with media
  • Organising events for clients

Carbon International’s clients need to be reported in trade, financial and business media.
