Bristol, South West | £ 25,000 - £35,000Have you got what it takes develop and close sales leads for low carbon and renewable energy products and services?
Having been established over 10 years, integrity and trust are at the heart of my clients business. By applying these beliefs to all internal and external relations and by delivering quality services, their business has enjoyed substantial and award winning success. Their growing multi-disciplined team are now looking for a knowledgeable and enthusiastic individual capable of selling high-cost equipment and technical services to clients in both the private and public sectors.
Working in Technical Sales you will work with teams providing energy and carbon assessments and detailed design and commissioning work for renewable energy systems.
Key responsibilities will include:
  • Working with senior executives to develop and deliver winning sales strategies for success
  • Effectively target sales prospects through telesales campaigns, attending trade events and client visits
  • Manage all aspects of the organisation's client relationships, from initiation through to ongoing service delivery
  • Maintain an understanding of the changing needs of existing and potential clients, ensuring the organisations services are based upon market demand
  • This role will involve extensive travel throughout the UK and internationally
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of selling engineering/consultancy services to a range of public and private organisations.
Further qualities and experience required include:
  • The ability to develop good relationships with new clients
  • A relevant degree (or equivalent) in mechanical or environmental engineering is desirable
  • Between 3 and 5 years relevant work experience
  • Be able to demonstrate a technical understanding of renewable energy technologies
  • Experience in BREEAM, Part L and NHER and project management
