Lightbulb UK: Technical Manager Resource Efficiency – Manchester – Up to £40k

Excellent opportunity to join successful consultancy and manage a wide range of resource efficiency projects.

This is a new position within the Resource Efficiency Team. In this role you will be expected to utilize your technical expertise and commercial experience to manage a variety of resource efficiency projects to time and budget. Projects will be for both public sector organizations and private sector companies and covering a multitude of industries from electronics to food and drink, construction and waste management. As this is a senior position within the team, you will also be involved with managing current client relationships, seeking new business development opportunities, and mentoring junior members of the team.

Previous experience in delivering resource efficiency projects is expected, preferably from the consultancy environment. Areas of knowledge and expertise should include eco-design, producer responsibility, lean manufacturing and other energy, water and waste minimization. You will also have strong financial management skills, a track record in business development and excellent project management and communication skills.
