By applying these beliefs to all internal and external relations and delivering quality services, their business has enjoyed substantial and award winning success. With a robust strategy for future growth, including the expansion of existing activities and the diversification into new areas the Innovation Manager is a brand new position, created to ensure growth is planned and successfully managed.
As the innovations manager you will work with the Executive Team to develop and implement a strategic growth plan, undertaking research/analysis, developing business plans and networking with stakeholder groups.
Key responsibilities will include:
  • Acting as a champion for innovation within the organisation
  • Researching and analysing key areas of strategic interest for future business
  • Delivery of business plans which are of sufficient quality to be used to raise and secure investment
  • Developing the organisations network, ensuring they are involved with key decisions being made in the public and private sectors
  • Ensuring a set percentage of revenue is obtained from innovations identified and then enacted upon
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of developing and delivering innovative ideas. Further qualities and experience required include:
  • A strong entrepreneurial spirit
  • Familiarity with project and investment analysis and reporting techniques (FCF, NPV, Monte Carlo etc)
  • An established network within the fields of energy, carbon management or sustainable development
  • An MBA or an equivalent business focused advanced qualification
  • Be able to demonstrate strong business acumen and financial knowledge, along with senior level experience in a medium sized enterprise
  • Evidence of a strong commitment to environmental and social causes of concern
