A great career for you and the environment... A successful US based Environment and Energy Consultancy, established for over 30 years, is expanding their UK based operations. Their simple and effective consulting approach attracts and retains clients; identifying engineering and environmental solutions to improve clients' productivity and profitability. With offices located throughout the US, UK and France this opportunity is for a Business Development Manager based from their Reading offices.
The Business Development Manager will partner with the Business Director to develop a strategy to expand presence in the UK to fuel the already large growth in the UK operation.
This role will suit a motivated individual who has the drive and initiative to develop our client's market share. As Business Development Manager your responsibilities will include:

• Leading sales, business development activities and managing execution of consulting projects
• The development and implementation of marketing strategy
• New client acquisition and sales growth

As the successful candidate you will have previous commercial business development experience within a consultancy environment, ideally with additional technical experience in health and safety. You will also have strong sales skills and exceptional interpersonal skills reflected in your track record of big ticket business wins. You'll also be able to apply your strong leadership qualities that will drive you to achieve your sales targets individually and drive you to promote our clients strengths and relate that to businesses needs.
Qualifications and requirements:

• BSc Degree (or equivalent) in Environmental Management / Science / Engineering or any other environmental discipline
• Full driving license
