Central London | £23k - £26kOur client is one of the worlds best known aviation bodies. Currently they are looking to hire an Analyst capable of conducting high level analysis of numerical data. This prestigious organization provides expert technical advice to the DfT (amongst others) on aircraft noise and its effects.
You will have the responsibility to carry out analysis of aircraft noise data in order to provide information that forms research reports on aircraft noise. These reports assist in the formulation of public policy regarding the environmental impact of aviation. Your responsibilities will include:
- Undertaking statistical analysis of large data sets using Microsoft Access or Excel including graphical presentation of data
- Assisting Project Managers and Senior Analysts in the preparation of technical reports and presentations
- Identifying new sites for mobile noise monitoring
Requirements:
- You will be degree qualified (or equivalent) in either a numerical discipline (i.e. maths or statistics) or an Engineering discipline
- Knowledge of environmental assessment and / or aviation
- You will be a quick learner who has the ability to learn new statistical analysis techniques
- An in depth knowledge and experience of Excel and Access is a must
- Experience in Visual Basic is desirable
