We are currently seeking An Energy and Sustainability Program Manager to join our office located in either New York, NY or Jersey City, NJ.

ENERGY AND SUSTAINABILITY PROGRAM MANAGER - New York, NY or Jersey City, NJ

Responsibilities:
# Manage energy and sustainability initiatives
# Prepare monthly variance and status reports and conduct monthly energy team meetings
# Develop site energy, water and waste profiles through periodic audits
# Review utility rates and riders to ensure best cost for utilities
# Audit and control energy and sustainability performance of landlord managed properties
# Assist all sites with sustainability related issues and identifying utility and waste savings projects
# Develop projects that include formalizing scope, obtaining quotes, performing project savings analysis and obtaining project approval
# Manage the implementation of energy and sustainability projects.
# Develop Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives and participate in CSR governance
# Train and support Facility Management Team
# Communicate past, present and future energy and sustainability plans and performance through formal presentations to client

Requirements
# Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architecture
# Minimum of 15+ years experience in the energy and/or facility management services
# Certified Energy Manager (CEM) designation preferred
# LEED Certification designation preferred
# Excellent interpersonal skills and problem solving ability
# Must be detail oriented, analytical and computer literate
# Demonstrated leadership/management skills
# Strong verbal/written communication skills, negotiation and presentation skills
# Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service
