US: Manager, Corporate Communications and CSR at Juniper Networks

Description

The manager of Social Innovation Marketing will develop and lead a broad range of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) marketing programs, integrating relevant CSR initiatives into corporate marketing and product plans. Operating as the voice of the customer, this candidate will be responsible for identifying and driving links between the needs of key external stakeholders and internal CSR initiatives and plans. The candidate must be seasoned in developing and articulating the value of compelling solutions and aligning initiatives with the overall business goals. The ideal candidate will have experience in both the sustainability and high tech fields and a demonstrated proficiency in extrapolating the value of CSR initiatives to support and enable their development across the organization. The candidate must have a solid understanding of CSR issues and a proven track record of providing strategic counsel to executive management. The candidate must understand the rapidly evolving CSR environment and how the landscape affects and aligns to the business objectives.

Requirements

- Partnering with business and technology groups across the company to develop and support a progressive, high-impact CSR initiative that produces results - acting as the voice of the customer and consulting with business groups across the organization to ensure the relevancy of CSR initiatives

- Liaising with organizations across the company to provide the customer and external viewpoint to the internal initiatives, providing strategic counsel and advice to internal partners across the company

- Integrating CSR initiatives seamlessly into all marketing activities, programs and campaigns – providing relevant content and support and uncovering/gathering proof points to support storylines

- Partnering and supporting the company’s go-to-market strategies with respect to CSR initiatives.

-Articulating the customer requirements and benefits to ensure the CSR value is well understood – through vehicles such as Case Studies, customer forums, etc.

-Enabling internal stakeholders, including sales, to articulate the value and potential competitive differentiation of the CSR activities in a variety of delivery vehicles, including: presentations, data sheets, white papers, speeches case studies, etc.

- Enhancing Juniper’s corporate reputation locally, nationally and globally with key stakeholder communities on CSR issues

- Maintaining an industry-wide understanding of key global, national and regional issues, competitive offerings

- Supporting competitive CSR analysis, market research and due diligence

- Supporting standards and certifications efforts to ensure the company is appropriately aligned with relevant standards-bodies and can assert a leadership position

Ideal candidates will have 5-7 years of relevant product marketing, solution development and customer advocacy, experience, as well as experience in the corporate social responsibility arena that displays sound judgment, good instincts and consistent results. Candidate will manage multiple long-term and short-term projects simultaneously, and possess strong organizational, follow up, communications and leadership skills. Candidate must be a proven team player, with an ability to lead by influence and build consensus across internal organizations. Exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills are required. BA required. Travel approximately 10-20%.
