Within these roles you will provide technical support and direction to a number of departments, with a focus on planning. At the senior level, the role will be central to the management of more complex and multidisciplinary projects.
With over 25 years experience in the industry, our client has strong environmental and operational experience, and the business prides itself on its high technical standards and commercial awareness to provide practical advice and solutions.
As an integral part of the team you will:
- Provide technical input into planning policy, legislation, EIA, environmental audits, waste management licensing and IPPC
- Assess the risks and liabilities associated with sites and development for a variety of purposes including pre-acquisition due diligence and insurance
- Collate information required to support planning applications and applications for waste management licences and PPC permit applications
- Prepare letters, reports or other written work as required by the Company
We are looking for people with:
- A minimum of an MSc in a relevant subject (or equivalent)
- A Diploma (or equivalent) in Planning
- A career in waste or minerals, or an interest in pursuing one
There are a variety of roles at different levels within this growing Consultancy and we welcome applications from all relevant candidates. For the Senior Planning Consultant position you will be required to have:
- MRTPI (Membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute)
- Consultancy experience
- Project management, budgeting and financial control experience
- Experience of working on Quality Management Systems.
