London | £23k - £26kA not-for-profit organisation at the forefront of fighting climate change in the UK is looking to recruit an Assistant Accreditation Manager. This organisation aims to promote sustainable energy, reducing consumption and carbon emissions across the UK. As an Assistant Accreditation Manager the successful candidate will play a key role in combating climate change, helping in the management and delivery of energy efficiency accreditation programmes.
A key focus of this role will be the delivery of approval and compliance processes relating to the endorsement of products in the market leading energy efficiency accreditation scheme. Further responsibilities will include:
- Certifying members of the scheme and their products, maintaining a register of certified products.
- Assisting in the expansion of the accreditation team into further product groups.
- Liaising and working with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Supporting the management of financial and contractual aspects of the accreditation scheme, including budget setting, and contract preparation.
- Constantly assess and develop the quality of the energy efficiency accreditation scheme, working with other team members to ensure changes are in-line with strategy.
In order to succeed in this post, potential candidates must be able to manage and organise a complex workload under competing priorities. Other key skills and experience required include:
- Prior awareness of energy efficiency and experience working within this industry.
- The ability to grasp and understand technical issues.
- Hold a degree (or equivalent) in a related discipline.
- Experience working/liaising with a variety of stakeholders, preferably in both the public and private sectors.
- Be able to work successfully within and across teams, with excellent communication skills.
