Description

The role
Report to Corporate Responsibility Manager, who reports directly to the Director of Corporate Affairs.
Prepare papers for and participate in quarterly corporate responsibility board meetings and external advisory panel meetings (board level committees)
Sole responsibility for maintaining a full audit trail of information and data in CR reports to ensure content meets external verification standard by overseeing creation of audit standard files for annual external audit
Work in partnership with managers around the business to ensure that CR report commitments and targets are developed, reviewed and met through regular meetings and tracking of progress
Seek improvements in corporate responsibility reporting information systems to ensure effectiveness and efficiencies by considering external and internal good practice
Keep up to date with best practice in CR & reporting by reviewing publications, attending conferences, building external networks and make recommendations to apply good practice to Camelot
Provide strategic advice to CR manager and relevant cross functional groups

You must have:
Commensurate experience within the corporate community or CSR role within the private sector
Technical understanding of principles of corporate reporting methodologies, formats and standards such as AA1000(AS), G3 (or knowledge of working with similar externally audited standards)
Experience and understanding of CR reporting
Understanding of broad corporate responsibility agenda
Basic understanding of lottery and gaming industry desirable
Understanding of community investment and diversity agenda desirable
Knowledge of corporate responsibility issues, context and good practice
Excellent time management, project management and organisational skills, with the ability to work on your own initiative;
The ability to work with a dynamic range of people, alongside experience of managing relationships especially in the private sector;
Excellent writing skills for internal and external audiences
IT literacy and be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
