Sustainability Consultants Urgently required
West Midlands
£29,000 to £37,000+ Benefits

Our Client is looking for experienced, professional and creative individuals to join the Sustainability and Climate Change Team in Birmingham. The post holders would be involved in the initiation and delivery of projects, but also in identifying new business opportunities and directions.


 Preparation and assessment of strategies, initiatives and projects relating to climate change mitigation and adaptation measures.
 Sustainability Appraisal/Strategic Environmental Assessment/Appropriate Assessment
 Calculation of carbon emissions/savings and footprints.
 Preparation and assessment of sustainable planning policies (LDFs), sustainable regeneration strategies/master-planning and urban design/lay-out.
 Undertake research, analysis and prepare reports and documentation
 Advice on and/or preparation of applied sustainable/climate change initiatives and measures, for instance carbon neutral development/master-planning, energy efficient/ passive solar energy design, sustainable layout/urban form, home zones, retro fitting solutions, micro-generation.
 Compiling/devising sustainability checklists to assess/evaluate buildings, sites, neighbourhoods or areas using new and established tools, including utilisation of the Code for Sustainable Homes, BREEAM etc.
