Group Sustainability & Reporting Manager

Specification The role:

Vodafone is seeking a Group Sustainability & Reporting Manager to design, develop and implement key corporate social responsibility projects and help realise our strategic vision of being a responsible business. This is a business-critical role with emphasis on managing CSR-related risks to enhance and protect our reputation, brand value and trust with key stakeholders.

As a Group Sustainability & Reporting Manager you will identify business opportunities which promote positive socio-economic impact and sustainable development, lead external reporting of CSR activities and implement change to support our “Access to Communications” scheme – helping to ensure access to communications for those otherwise excluded.

The role of Group Sustainability & Reporting Manager will be a key position within the Corporate Social Responsibility department.


As a Group Sustainability & Reporting Manager your main responsibilities will involve:

• Identification of business opportunities with positive socio-economic impact, presenting robust business cases for products and services promoting sustainable development
• Supporting the delivery of Vodafone’s Access to Communications flagship programme in both developing and developed markets
• Development of further research to identify the socio-economic impact and potential of mobile telephony in different regions of the globe
• Project managing the external reporting of CSR performance
• Leading CSR input into the corporate website


As a Group Sustainability & Reporting Manager your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

• Good understanding of the environmental and socio-economic agenda, either through qualification or experience
• Communications experience preferable with good written and oral communications skills
• Inspirational leadership, empathetic partner and a champion for innovation
• Technical or social sciences related degree preferable (not essential)

An ambassador for CSR both internally and externally, as a Group Sustainability & Reporting Manager with Vodafone you will be open to new ideas and understand the external drivers to change. Demonstrating a passion for cultural diversity, you will work collaborative with others, fostering good relations and empowering people to deliver solutions.
