Senior Director, Corporate Responsibility

Organization: Pfizer

Devise and implement a global strategy to advance Pfizer as a leader in corporate responsibility in the pharmaceutical industry and across all industries through proactive engagement of internal and external stakeholders; identifying and positioning emerging issues; developing global corporate responsibility communications. The focus is on internal infrastructure-building.
Stakeholder-Engagement

* Create Pfizer’s global internal corporate responsibility learning network and coordinate information, issues and positions on corporate responsibility
* Work cross-divisionally with internal champions for corporate responsibility to ensure that best in class CR practices are embedded throughout the organization
* Work closely with stakeholder groups, such as nongovernmental organizations, corporations and governments, and business sustainability organizations
* Engage in continuous benchmarking practices around CR, develop and strengthen Pfizer’s external relationships, and represent Pfizer at meetings and venues related to corporate responsibility
* Develop internal/external corporate responsibility materials and indices, such as reports, presentations, speeches, web copy, briefing materials, surveys, and award submissions

Strategy/Performance Indicators

* Develop and implement a global citizenship strategy
* Analyze and propose research on emerging global corporate responsibility issues and players, and their likely impact on Pfizer and the industry
* Further develop and refine corporate responsibility performance metrics.
* At least 10 years of private sector experience, or business equivalent experience with a major nongovernmental or multilateral agency or national government
* At least five years experience in global corporate responsibility or a related field, preferably with international experience
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Strategic and analytic capabilities
* Excellent project management, process and organizational skills to prioritize multiple projects and activities.
* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and build networks
* Experience in the global pharmaceutical or healthcare field is desired but not mandatory

Education Level

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Advanced degree in medicine, business or law or related field preferred.
