Maplecroft (
www.maplecroft.net) was founded in 2001 to provide strategic corporate responsibility advisory services and global business risk analysis. We are a closely knit, team of specialists committed to providing rigorously researched advisory briefings and communicating them in interactive, creative ways.
Maplecroft has developed a successful and growing niche market, with a variety of international clients, most of which are Fortune 500 leaders in their sectors. In addition to our strong client base, we have formed close research partnerships with international organisations and we undertakes extensive pro-bono work for humanitarian organisations dedicated to improving the state of the world.
Maplecroft is expanding and seeks experienced professionals with expertise across a variety of sectors particularly mining, energy, consumer goods, retail sales, and financial services.
THE POSITIONS AVAILABLE
1. CSR consultants, specialising in:- Ethical supply chain management
- Human rights monitoring
- Environmental management
- Health and safety
- CSR communications
Assignments include, for example, the development or evaluation of corporate responsibility management programmes, ethical supply chain management systems, or human rights monitoring systems (see

2. Global risk consultants, specialising in:- Macroeconomics
- Human rights
- Geopolitics and conflict
- Health
- Environment
Assignments can entail, for example, global and country-specific risk identification, research and analysis, and the writing of articles.

3. Map researchers with strong quantitative skills and any of the above subject specializations
THE QUALIFICATIONS for positions 1-3 above
Masters degree or PhD in relevant subject At least 3 years relevant practical experience Advanced IT skills, with demonstrable proficiency in full Microsoft Office suite Strong quantitative analytical skills Superior writing and presentation skills Deep understanding of research methodology Able to manage time effectively and work under time pressure Comfortable working in an interdisciplinary, multi-cultural team with formal peer review Innovative and creative, with strong interpersonal communication skills.
