As part of our continued growth plan, we now have an opportunity at Senior Consultant level within the national Sustainability team based in our London office. Candidates should have chartered status RIBA, RICS, CIBSE, IEMA or equivalent, and degree educated.
Successful candidates have the opportunity to progress rapidly within the company and develop a supporting team. The range of work will be diverse, covering all the sustainability and environmental issues facing the built environment.
Specific knowledge required for the position includes:
*Knowledge of the UK property and construction industry
*A sound knowledge of sustainable building design principles
*Carbon management in the built environment
*Knowledge of approved document Part L2A
*Renewable energy feasibility studies
*Preparation of sustainability strategies / statements to support planning and funding applications
*Sustainable procurement
*Sustainable material specification
*Whole Life Costing
The successful candidate will be a qualified Code for Sustainable Homes assessor, additional BREEAM qualification would be preferred
Specific experience required for the position:
*Past proven experience consultancy experience - relating to sustainability in the built environment
*Sound appreciation of financial management and understanding of how consultancy businesses work
*A track record of delivering projects to budget and on time
*Experience working in and advising design and project teams
