The CarbonNeutral Company provides the secretariat function to the All Party Parliamentary Climate Change Group (APPCCG). The Group was launched in June 2005 with the aim of bringing parliamentarians and business leaders together to develop policy instruments to tackle climate change and is now one of the fastest growing groups in Parliament with over 250 members.

Since launching, the Group has been responsible for hosting a series of top level meetings and forums with speakers including Ex-Vice President of the United States Al Gore; Mikhail Gorbachev; the Rt Hon Margaret Beckett MP; Prof Sir David King, the Government’s Chief Scientific Advisor and Sir Nicholas Stern, Head of the Stern Review on the Economics of Climate Change covering a wide range of climate change issues affecting both government and business. The Group has also recently published its first inquiry entitled, “Is a cross party consensus on climate change possible or desirable?” the findings of which were presented to the three main political parties.

This is a fantastic role, involved in many interesting things - but why's it not a paid job? Surely we're looking for someone very talented to carry out an important role like this? - I don't get it?!
