London | £40k - £45k + BenefitsThis is the opportunity for you to take the next step in your career. An exceptional position has arisen to join a leading investment bank as Sustainability Associate, with a particular focus on Energy & Climate Change.
Tasked with helping one of the leading names in investment banking to define, plan and execute a leading Corporate Responsibility & Environment programme spanning the Globe, you will be joining an organisation committed to innovation and leadership.
Working with the Global Head of Sustainability and a fast-growing support team, you will engage key stakeholders within and outside the Bank to impliment a broad range of programmes.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Leading the delivery of environmental goals and projects, in areas such as energy use and management, climate change and waste minimization.
- Reviewing external the regulatory and policy environment, including the activities and campaigns of SRI investors, NGOs and best practice in the sector.
- Developing internal and external communications around Sustainability activity
- Supervising the collection and analysis of environmental data
- Developing the organisation's profile through industry networking, conferences etc.
We're looking for people with around 3-5 years experience in a hands-on Sustainabiltiy position, working either within a major corporate, or for a consultancy with high-profile clients. You will be able to demonstrate considerable technical environmental knowledge, along with practical experience in implimenting programmes in a broad commercial context.
You will have excellent academic qualifications (preferably including a related MSc degree) and be committed to delivering excellence in all aspects of your work.
Those who have experience working on a combination of Environmental, Climate Change and Social programmes within the corporate arena will be of particular of interest.
With exceptional written and verbal communication skills, you will be adept at engaging with influential executives at the highest level, and have the creativity to innovate at all times.
