A leading international health and consumer goods company is currently looking for a European Sustainability Advisor. This is an outstanding opportunity to join a very successful and iconic brand, supporting the European environmental agenda and enhancing the company's sustainability reputation.
This is a new position which will play a key role is developing the company's sustainability strategy and implementing projects to shape suppliers' behaviour.
Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Supporting the sustainability agenda of this global firm; identifying and responding to key sustainability issues
  • Managing the company's reputation and its relationships with key customers through communication strategies
  • Developing internal and external relationships to promote credibility and trust so client groups and stakeholders will be receptive to advice on sustainability
You should be self-motivated and will possess:
  • A technical / scientific degree (Environmental Science, Biology, Engineering, etc)
  • Business experience and a broad appreciation for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and the environment within a large organisation, ideally in consumer products or the retail industry
  • Direct experience of implementing sustainability strategies
Within the role you will be given the flexibility and training to develop your ideas and also develop personally. There will also be excellent opportunities for networking internally and externally around Europe and the US.
