London | Circa £39,000A new and exciting opportunity has arisen within an international company who specialise in bringing emerging environmental technologies to a global market. They have formed strong partnerships with both companies and governments to drive and deliver their unique operations to reduce green house gas emissions.
Part of a larger organisation with a presence in 12 countries, our client has backing from major financial organisations and has an established portfolio of clean technologies.
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will conduct technical and engineering investigations into emerging technology and will deliver technical advice for new projects. In particular you will take a large level of responsibility in the following areas:

• The undertaking of due diligence on technical/engineering aspects of new technologies
• Deployment of a portfolio of technologies to market
• Technical engineering feasibility studies
• Planning, project management and development

As a self starting, inquisitive individual, you will have a high level of initiative along with a suitable degree and a minimum of three years relevant experience. Ideally you have experience in one or more of the following areas:

• Demand side energy management
• Energy efficiency in process based industries
• "Clean coal"/near zero emissions mining
• Gas flaring reduction
• Low emissions waste water treatment and/or waste disposal
• Biomass, Biofuels, including co-firing
• Renewable and alternative energy
• Electricity (CHP, distributed generation and network efficiency)
