If you're an experienced and dynamic Environmental / Health & Safety Manager, this is your big chance to join a brilliant company in this very exciting position.
The core role of this position will be to drive company strategy by setting and implementing policies in line with UK legislation, and the organisation's values, to minimise employees' exposure to any risks.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and reviewing ESH&S policies and procedures ensuring they exceed or meet legislative requirements and organisational standards
- Providing in-house expertise from factory to commercial sectors
- Developing and maintaining strategic plan and achieve goals
- Developing annual action plan, training and related budget in conjunction with management ensuring integration
- Liaising with external bodies and authorities
- Leading and motivating personnel
You should possess:
- A degree in a relevant field
- An NEBOSH Diploma
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to work under pressure and independently
- Excellent interpersonal, motivational and influential ability
- A proven track record of success
