North West | £30k - £35k OTE £50k
Our client is a forward thinking recycling company who commissioned a start-up operation, the first of its kind in the UK, twelve months ago. Now, due to its continued success they require a waste procurement executive to join their small, dynamic team.
Reporting directly to the managing director, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing leads to buy post industrial waste to feed a 20,000 tonne per annum processing plant.
They are currently growing exponentially and looking to move into new waste streams, so candidates who have experience of buying plastics derived from WEEE material will be of particular interest.
The key responsibilities of the role are as follows:
  • Trading
  • Buying good quality input material from diverse sources.
  • Keeping records and reporting all trading activity.
  • Liaising with the production team
  • Ensuring all purchased material is delivered in an appropriate condition and.
  • Scheduling Logistics
  • Ensuring material is delivered on the right time to fit in with existing production.
Applicants should have a minimum of three years experience of working in the Waste Management or Recycling fields, which must include some experience in a buying role.
In return our client can offer an exceptional salary along with the opportunity for team management in the near future.
Ref 1704 Apply
