This is an exciting new position within an expanding organisation whose aim is to engage organisations and individuals in exploring companies’ ethics and values by using its main product; an innovative web-based knowledge management and feedback system.
This role requires an individual who is a skilled networker, has ability to identify new opportunities and can undertake sales and marketing activities.
The job…
Candidates should demonstrate an outstanding ability to perform the following tasks;
- Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers via meetings, telephone calls and emails;
- Visit potential customers to prospect for new business;
- Act as a contact between the company and existing and potential markets;
- Negotiate the terms of an agreement and closing sales;
- Gather market and customer information;
- Where necessary represent the organisation at trade exhibitions, events and demonstrations;
- Record sales and order information and report back to the team;
- Review your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets;
- Gain a clear understanding of customers' businesses and requirements;
- Make accurate calculations and provide customers with quotations;
- Feed future buying trends back to the team.
You…
- Are an excellent communicator with good negotiation skills and the ability to present effectively to prospective clients
- Competent at putting together winning powerpoint presentations!
- Have an enthusiastic, outgoing, ‘can-do’ attitude to the work
- Are IT literate
- Have sales/marketing experience and good research skills
