If you are a brilliant Sustainability Consultant, who wants to develop your career then joining this Mechanical and Electrical design company is a great opportunity.
Our client prides itself on timely delivery and innovative solutions on a range of services. Working with a broad spectrum of clients, its excellence is reflected by being short listed for a governmental award for carbon reduction in the construction industry.
Having a complete understanding of sustainability issues in the development process, your main responsibilities will include:
  • Advising on and assessing sustainability of new developments
  • Generating feasibility studies for renewable energy technologies
  • Completing sustainability planning strategies
  • Recommending practical, achievable, cost effective and innovative solutions
The successful candidate will also have:
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex ideas in simple terms
  • An understanding of the development process (including planning)
  • A good knowledge of renewable energy technologies and the application of energy efficiency design
  • Code for Sustainable Homes assessor or a qualified SAP assessor would be ideal but is not essential
  • Experience using EnergyPro, Hevacomp or IES software
  • A degree in a relevant discipline
