Having a complete understanding of sustainability issues in the development process, your main responsibilities will include:
- Advising on and assessing sustainability of new developments
- Generating feasibility studies for renewable energy technologies
- Completing sustainability planning strategies
- Recommending practical, achievable, cost effective and innovative solutions
The successful candidate will also have:
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey complex ideas in simple terms
- An understanding of the development process (including planning)
- A good knowledge of renewable energy technologies and the application of energy efficiency design
- Code for Sustainable Homes assessor or a qualified SAP assessor would be ideal but is not essential
- Experience using EnergyPro, Hevacomp or IES software
- A degree in a relevant discipline
