OPM is an independent, not-for-profit public interest company, working with people to develop high quality management, professional practice and public engagement in organisations that aim to improve social results.
OPM is currently seeking a Consultant to provide services to clients across the public sector in one or more of three main business areas:
• Organisational development and policy.
• Leadership and management development.
• Advice, development support and project assistance in community and stakeholder engagement.
Consultants are required to work to a current target of 13.5 days of client-paid work per month, excluding leave periods. Performance of individual consultants is judged against targets and against personal performance objectives set in agreement with the relevant director.
Qualifications:
Successful candidates are likely to be able to demonstrate:
• Experience in designing and delivering learning programmes for senior managers and leaders.
• Demonstrable presentation, facilitation and teaching skills.
• Understanding of the processes of identifying development needs and commissioning and evaluating development interventions.
• A strong personal track record in managing client relationships and projects.
• A good understanding of at least one area of UK public policy and practice.
• Excellent communication skills.
• An eagerness to make the most of the opportunities offered by a stimulating and varied work environment.
