Default Trainee energy and environmental consultant

Manchester | £18k - £24kThis is an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly expanding, successful energy and environmental consultancy. Our client has an impressive client list within manufacturing, commercial and the public sector.
Joining at a crucial time, you will be given full exposure to all areas of energy consultancy including; climate change levy work, energy surveys, emissions trading and carbon foot printing. This is a hand's on role where you will be given excellent training and support in the early stages before developing into a fully fledged consultant.
As a trainee consultant your duties will include:
  • Consulting with clients and assessing the need to provide energy management services
  • Conducting energy surveys
  • Writing reports
  • Running continuous development programmes for clients and attending regular formal training sessions
  • Providing excellent pro-active customer care throughout the process and afterwards
The successful candidate will ideally come from an engineering background and those with a proven track record of working within an energy saving remit will be of particular interest.
Candidate requirements:
  • HND/HNC in engineering based subject
  • Experience or previous exposure to working within industry
  • Ability to engage with people at all levels
  • Be able to work autonomously as well as part of a team
