Default HOT JOB HSE Director

London | £60k - £70kOur Client is one of the UK's leading infrastructure renewal and modernisation firms, providing innovative consultancy service to major public authorities and centralised government bodies. They are currently looking to recruit an experienced HSE Director who has the capability to implement, monitor and report on the progress of the Group HSE Plan policies and objectives.
Your main responsibilities will include supporting the team, implementing and monitoring the HSE management systems ensuring that they are in accordance to legal compliances. In addition you will be required to lead and drive forward the integrated audit programme. You will be providing initiatives to support bid teams and operational sites in the application of health, safety and environmental policies and strategies
The ideal candidate will be
  • IOSH qualified or equivalent, with continuing professional development to MIOSH
  • OHSAS 18001 Lead Auditor and ISO 14001 Lead Auditor, or ISO 9001: 2000 lead auditor training and a good understanding of ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001
IEMA is desirable but not essential
You will be able to work well under pressure and will be a natural leader able to accurately plan and implement objectives
