GVEP International, a UK-based organisation with charitable objectives and with its head office in London, was established in 2006 by the Global Village Energy Partnership in order to develop and carry out activities to underpin the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals by improving energy access and promoting innovative approaches to the provision of energy services in villages and communities in developing countries. GVEP International is inviting applications for four new positions to join a small Management Team, in support of a significant expansion of its activities:
Programme Manager
Product Development Manager
Finance and Procurement Manager
Office Manager.
In addition to the specific requirements for each position, which all report to the CEO, the following are qualities the organisation seeks for all its staff: a commitment to poverty alleviation and empowerment of the poor; experience in a complex multicultural organisation; experience with the role of business in the sustainable development arena; good communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills; fluent in English and other language(s) desirable.
The positions are all based in London and the senior posts will involve international travel.
