Digital Links International is currently seeking a Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Digital Links International is an international charity that provides developing countries with affordable access to Information and Communications Technology to improve education and healthcare and to alleviate poverty. Established five years ago, the charity has grown into the largest not-for-profit provider of refurbished computers to developing countries. It has distributed over 70,000 refurbished computers to more than 2,000 schools, hospitals and communities, providing access to ICT for over 2 million people, the majority of whom are in Africa.
They are seeking an exceptional individual to join their team as an experienced leader, executive manager, and strategic planner to take the organisation forward. The CEO has primary responsibility for the effective management of the Digital Links organisation, leadership of their small staff in three countries, running of a complex social business, fundraising, partnership building and communication of their vision to key stakeholders. The organisation has a dynamic board whose vision is to see the organisation continue to grow rapidly over the next five years to provide ICT services to 10 million people.
